Designing 3D erotic clothing for HART Mag

I designed an 8-page spread for Berlin’s HART Mag featuring an imaginary erotic clothing line. The series is called The Midnight Channel.

What is HART Mag?

HART Mag is a cutting-edge Berlin-based magazine and store that specializes in erotic, queer, and fetish art. This platform caters to a fashion-forward community of artists who are inspired by erotica, featuring zines and an extensive collection of erotic art that celebrates sexuality and diversity.

The inspiration behind my 3D Erotic clothing collection.

My collection, titled "The Midnight Channel," draws inspiration from my childhood memories of staying up past my bedtime and accidentally coming across an adult channel. The surreal set designs and appearances of the people on the screen left a lasting impression on me, which I sought to recreate in my current 3D art and digital fashion.

In addition, the erotic clothing in my collection is influenced by branded clothing, featuring outfits covered in famous logos that often define our identities and sexual expressions in a hyper-consumerist age.

How did I make the erotic clothing?

To create the visuals for my project, I employed several software programs. Firstly, I used Zbrush and Substance Painter to design and create the characters. After that, I imported them into Marvelous Designer to create their outfits. Finally, I utilized 3Ds Max with Vray render engine to build the sets, texture them, and render the scenes. To make the images print-ready, I processed them in Photoshop.

Receiving the magazine in the mail was an incredibly thrilling experience for me! I was delighted to see that I had been able to fill out six pages of their beautifully crisp publication with my works, which looked shiny and fresh in print.

Where can we see the whole collection?

The collection has been turned into NFTs and minted on Foundation. You can check them out here.
